If you’re traveling through Ohio and close to Cleveland – you definitely need to stop by First Watch. [ * * * * * ] There are about ten (10) locations in the Greater Cleveland area. I visited the diner in University Heights and it was FABULOUS!! I’m a breakfast guy more than anything else. It gets me going in the morning. And, the breakfasts at First Watch are universally appealing. I had the Honey, Bacon Brussels Hash. AyYiYi, it was over-the-top wonderful. Three of my favorite breakfast items were present, including hardwood smoked bacon and honey-roasted brussels sprouts in a potato hash topped with Cheddar and Monterey Jack, house-roasted onions, two cage-free eggs any style (I requested three), herbed Goat cheese, lemon-dressed arugula and a drizzle of chili crisp. All of the ingredients were some of my favorites. Actually, I can’t wait until I’m back in Cleveland for another visit. I would rank them as one of the best breakfast diners I’ve visited in the last couple of years.
